Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of RezoCV, operated by Navid Taheri, entrepreneur individuel, L'Union, France (SIREN 922 998 315). By creating an account you agree to them. If you are a consumer in the European Union, nothing here removes a right the law gives you, and where a clause below conflicts with that law, the law wins.
What RezoCV does
RezoCV helps you prepare a job application. It audits your CV against a posting, rewrites your experience for that role, drafts a cover letter, drafts answers to the screening questions the employer's form is likely to ask, and runs a mock interview with you.
RezoCV never submits an application on your behalf. Everything it produces is laid out for you to review and copy into the employer's own form. You always press Apply yourself.
What it is not
RezoCV is a writing and preparation tool. It is not a recruitment agency, not a career adviser, and not a legal or immigration adviser. It decides nothing about your employment and never communicates with employers.
AI, and why you must read the output
RezoCV uses AI to generate text from your CV and the job posting. It is built not to invent experience, and where a claim needs a figure your CV does not give, it writes [ADD NUMBER] rather than making one up. Even so, any AI system can make mistakes: a misread date, a wrong emphasis, a phrase that does not sound like you.
Read everything before you send it. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit to an employer, including anything drafted with RezoCV's help. We cannot be responsible for a statement you passed on without checking it.
What we say about a job posting
RezoCV reads public signals about a listing (how long it has been online, whether the same title keeps reappearing, whether the description says anything concrete, whether the role also appears on the employer's own careers board) and shows you what it noticed, along with how much it was able to check.
This is inference from public information, not a finding of fact about the employer. It is our reading, offered to help you decide where to spend an evening. It is not an allegation that any employer has done anything wrong, and it is not a statement that a listing is fake. A posting can be entirely genuine and still show every signal we flag: recruitment is slow, boards go stale, and many employers do not use the applicant tracking systems we can read. Judge for yourself, and apply if you want to.
Presenting your experience
Some features change the emphasis of your CV, for instance rewriting it for a role more junior than your history, so that it reads as a credible fit rather than as an over-qualification.
Changing emphasis is not the same as changing facts, and you must not let it become so. These features are built never to lower a real title, shorten a real tenure, remove a qualification or alter a date, and they tell you plainly what they have not hidden. What you finally send is your statement to an employer: check that every line of it is one you could defend in an interview. Misrepresenting your history to an employer is your responsibility, not ours.
Your account
- Give an accurate email address and keep your password to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account per person. Do not share a login.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings. It is immediate and irreversible.
Who you are buying from
Purchases made on the web are sold by Gumroad, Inc. acting as merchant of record. Gumroad is the seller for that transaction: they take the payment, calculate and remit the VAT or sales tax due in your country, issue the receipt, and appear on your bank statement. The RezoCV service itself is provided by Navid Taheri under these terms.
You never need to deal with Gumroad directly. Ask us for anything, including a refund, and we handle it.
Plans and prices
Prices are in euros, excluding VAT or local sales tax, which is added at checkout and shown to you before you pay.

A weekly plan at €9.99 is offered in the iOS and Android apps only. It is billed by the App Store or Google Play rather than by Gumroad, and those purchases are governed by the store's terms as well as these.
Credit packs are a one-off purchase: 250 credits for €10, 700 for €22, 1,800 for €49. Packs do not expire while your account is open.
Why credits. The tasks cost very different amounts to run, so charging by application would make the person who rehearses four times pay the same as the person who never opens the interview panel. A complete application costs 36 credits, and the app shows the price of every action before you spend it.
An annual plan is billed once but granted monthly. Unused credits do not roll over between periods.
Billing and renewal
- Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. The price and the next date are in Settings.
- Cancelling: any time, from Settings in the app. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not billed again. We ask for no notice period and there is nothing to phone.
- Price changes: we tell you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Failed payment: we tell you and retry. Access pauses; the account is not deleted.
Refunds and withdrawal
14 days, full refund, no reason needed. Your statutory right of withdrawal under EU and French law, and how we go beyond it, are set out in full on the refunds page, which forms part of these terms.
Acceptable use
Do not use RezoCV to:
- claim qualifications, employment or credentials you do not have;
- apply on someone else's behalf without their knowledge, or impersonate anyone;
- mass-apply in a way that breaks a job board's or an employer's own terms;
- upload another person's CV or personal data without their agreement;
- get around usage limits, resell access, reverse-engineer the service, or use it to build a competing product.
The first two matter most. RezoCV exists to make a truthful application land better, not to make an untruthful one plausible.
What you give us is yours to give, and it is true. By uploading a CV or a profile you confirm that the history in it is your own and accurate, that you are entitled to share anything it contains about other people, and that nothing in it infringes anyone else's rights. Everything RezoCV produces is built from what you provide, so this is the one thing the service cannot check for you. If a claim in your application turns out to be untrue, that is a statement you made to an employer.
Who owns what
Yours: your CV, your profile, and every document RezoCV produces from them. We claim no rights over your career history or the CVs and letters you generate. Use them anywhere, including after you stop paying.
Ours: the RezoCV name, the app, this site, their design and their code.
Availability
We aim to keep RezoCV running but do not promise it will never be unavailable. Maintenance happens, and the AI providers we depend on occasionally fail. If an outage stops you using a paid plan for a meaningful stretch, tell us and we will credit or extend it.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaks the acceptable-use rules above. Where the breach is not serious we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. If we close a paid account for a reason that is not your fault, we refund the unused part.
You may stop using RezoCV and delete your account at any time.
Liability
RezoCV is provided without any promise that it will get you an interview, an offer, or any other outcome. Hiring decisions belong to employers.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under French law, including the garantie légale de conformité. Subject to that, and so far as the law allows, our total liability arising from your use of RezoCV is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change in a way that affects you, we update the date above and tell you in the app at least 30 days beforehand. If you do not accept the change you may cancel, and we refund the unused part of your current period.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
Write to support@rezocv.com first: almost everything is settled there. As a consumer you may also be entitled to free mediation; where a mediator is appointed for RezoCV, their details will be published on the refunds page.
