Privacy Policy

RezoCV is built to store as little as possible. Your résumé content and profile data live on your own device, never on our servers. We keep only what's required to run your account: your email, your subscription status, and the roles you save to your tracker.

Who this policy covers

RezoCV is operated by Navid Taheri ("we," "us"). This policy applies to the RezoCV mobile app and its backend service, wherever you access it.

What we collect

Data	Why
Email address	To create and secure your account, and to send password-reset emails if you request one.
Password (hashed)	To let you sign in. We never store your actual password, only a one-way cryptographic hash of it.
Subscription status	To know which plan you're on and enforce its usage limits.
Saved job applications (company, role, link, status)	To power your application tracker, if you choose to save a role.

What we do not store

Your résumé and profile. These stay on your device. When you ask RezoCV to audit, tailor, or write a cover letter, your résumé text and the job posting are sent to our server just long enough to generate the result, then discarded, never written to our database.
Your plaintext password. Only an irreversible hash is kept.
Payment details. Purchases are handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play; RezoCV never sees your card number.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of third-party services to run RezoCV. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Résumé and job-posting text sent for AI processing is not retained after the response is generated.

Your rights

You can, at any time, from inside the app under Settings:

View the email on file for your account
Change your password
Permanently delete your account: this immediately and irreversibly removes your email, password, subscription record, and all saved tracker entries from our servers

If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, these rights are guaranteed under the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, and portability). To exercise any right not covered by the in-app controls, or with any other question, contact us, see below.

Children

RezoCV is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where required, notify you in the app.
